We’re very excited about Halloween this year! During the day we’re joining up with
Spirit FM (who’ll be broadcasting live from London Road), Paul Inskip (who’s repeating
his popular Bats & Broomsticks Halloween Walk) and Bognor Regis Town Council
(whose Roller Rink will be at Place St Maur.)
The BID will be providing Face Painters and interactive street art outside the train station throughout the day.
We’re also organising a Trick-or-Treat Lucky Dip, providing a token that can be
exchanged for either a “trick” or “treat” in your business. We’re asking for as many
businesses as possible to take part, so we can offer around 200 small “tricks” or “treats”
around the town.
For the night-time economy we’re building on the interactive street art to create an
incredible photo opportunity outside the station, with ‘Day of the Dead’ street walkers
and face painters for grown-ups to compliment the Halloween theme. Our aim is to
entice people out into town and lead them into your businesses.
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Really go to town on your window displays
Sign up to the BID’s Trick-or-Treat Lucky Dip by emailing info@brbid.org (more details below)
Create Halloween focused experiences in your business, such as Halloween based activities or staff in Halloween costumes
We’ll promote any offers or special events on the BID and Love Bognor Regis’s social
media channels and share photos and updates throughout the day and night event.
HOW TO TAKE PART IN THE TRICK-OR-TREAT LUCKY DIP
The Lucky Dip will take place between 11 am and 3 pm, next to the Spirit FM broadcast van.
We would like a total of 200 ‘prizes’ for children to select. They don’t have to be
extravagant or expensive – the idea is to bring footfall into your business.
HOW IT WORKS –
Your business commits to providing a number of “tricks” or “treats”- it can be any number that you like of “tricks” or “treats”, and they can be as big or small as you like.
We create individual tokens for your store for the Lucky Dip Trick-or-Treat. If you’ve offered five “treats”, we’ll create five “treat” tokens!
Winners will bring their token to your business to exchange for their prize … or ‘booby prize!’
Examples of a “trick” could be, a poorly sung song, a bad joke or a spoonful of
monster-mashed potato! An example of a “treat” could be a small voucher, or a sweet …
If you are interested in taking part in any of the options outlined, please complete the
form below and either:
Return it to the BID Office, 2 York Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 1LW
Or photograph the completed form and email it to info@brbid.org
